September is National Preparedness Month!

Dear all, if you have been following the news, there have been threats of wildfires in parts of the country and hurricane season hitting the south coast recently. September is National Preparedness Month and the IRS urges taxpayers from individuals to businesses to prepare for an emergency plan. Taxpayers should keep critical original documents (tax returns, birth certificates, deeds, etc.) inside waterproof containers in a secured space outside a potential disastrous area. In addition, taxpayers can also scan and save them on a USB flash drive, CD, backup in cloud storage so that it is secure and safe.
