First, Biden wants to raise the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%. Second, the top individual's income tax rate will be raised from 37% to 39.6%, which was the rate before it was reduced in 2017. This will only affect Americans earning more than $510,000. Third, the capital-gains tax rate would be raised from a top rate of 20% to 39.6% for people earning more than $1 million per year.
